Due to its land morphology and reckless building in the past the Italian coast of Liguria is prone to floods and landslides and climate change is exacerbating the issue with extreme weather conditions becoming more and more frequent.
In the picture surfers along the coast of Finale Ligure don’t seem to mind about the whirlwind behind them: a perfect paradigm of the society’s refusal to acknowledge the need to change its habits in order to tackle climate change.
